Astuces pour nettoyer ses lingettes démaquillantes lavables
Écologiques et économiques, les lingettes démaquillantes font partie des accessoires indispensables d’une salle de bains zéro déchet. Mais comment les nettoyer efficacement ? Certaines traces de mascara et de rouge à lèvres peuvent en effet persister. Voici quelques astuces simples pour redonner éclat à vos cotons réutilisables. Et ce, avec des ingrédients naturels !
Les lingettes démaquillantes lavables envahissent nos salles de bains. Et c’est tant mieux puisque les cotons jetables sont néfastes pour l’environnement. Ils remplissent nos poubelles et ne se recyclent pas. De plus, leur culture est l’une des plus polluantes au monde. Elle est très gourmande en eau et en pesticides ! Le hic avec les carrés lavables ? C’est leur entretien. Au fil du temps, ils deviennent tout gris, et certaines traces de maquillage (mascara, rouge à lèvres, fond de teint) persistent après lavage. Que faire pour qu’ils retrouvent leur éclat ? Voici quelques astuces.
Nettoyer ses lingettes lavables avec du savon de Marseille
Un simple nettoyage en machine à 30 ou 40 degrés ne suffit pas pour enlever toutes les taches. Après utilisation, frottez vos lingettes avec du savon de Marseille (le vrai bien sûr) et rincez-les à l’eau claire. Laissez-les sécher sur le rebord de votre lavabo ou suspendez-les à un étendoir, puis mettez-les en machine. Conseil : lavez-les avec votre linge blanc pour qu’elles ne deviennent pas grises. Pour éviter qu’elles ne disparaissent comme les chaussettes, n’oubliez pas de les placer dans un filet !
Nettoyer ses lingettes lavables avec du bicarbonate de soude et du vinaigre blanc
Vos cotons lavables ont encore des traces ? Pariez alors sur le bicarbonate de soude et le vinaigre blanc ! Dans une bassine ou un saladier rempli d’eau chaude, versez deux cuillères à soupe de bicarbonate de soude et un verre de vinaigre blanc. Laissez tremper vos cotons toute une nuit, puis lavez-les en machine avec votre linge, à 40 ou 60 degrés. À noter que le vinaigre blanc a des propriétés adoucissantes. Vos cotons retrouveront éclat ET douceur.
Taches très tenaces : on mise sur le percarbonate
Si les solutions précédentes ne marchent pas, on sort l’artillerie lourde : le percarbonate de soude. Ce produit naturel, désinfectant et antibactérien, vient à bout des taches les plus tenaces. C’est aussi un très bon agent blanchissant. Dans une bassine d’eau ou un saladier, ajoutez deux cuillères à soupe de percarbonate et laissez tremper pendant toute une nuit vos lingettes démaquillantes dans la solution. Passez-les ensuite à la machine. Vous pouvez aussi ajouter du percarbonate à votre lessive, comme expliqué ici.
À noter qu’il est aussi possible d’ajouter des cristaux soude. Ils enlèvent efficacement les résidus de gras comme l’huile démaquillante et le rouge à lèvres. L’astuce est la même. Il faut juste ajouter en plus une cuillère à soupe de cristaux de soude dans la préparation.
Pour des cotons blancs : le citron
Si vos cotons n’ont pas de tache mais qu’ils font grise mine, utilisez du citron. Ce petit agrume serait efficace pour faire blanchir les tissus. Nos grands-mères seraient les premières convaincues ! L’astuce consiste à faire tremper les cotons dans un litre d’eau bouillante avec le jus de deux citrons. Lorsque vous lavez vos lingettes à la machine, vous pouvez aussi mettre des rondelles de citron dans un autre filet. Ça marche aussi pour le linge.
