Challenge JUST KEEP IT : un an sans gaspillage alimentaire !
L’association belge Nurtantio Projects lance la deuxième édition du Challenge JUST KEEP IT. Objectif : un an sans gaspillage alimentaire ! Pour accompagner les participants, elle a sorti une application contenant un calendrier de menus anti-gaspi basé sur les recettes de son livre « JUST KEEP IT : les recettes #Zerogaspi ». Tous les Français peuvent relever ce défi !
Les chiffres sont vertigineux. En France, sur l’ensemble de la chaîne de production, 10 millions de tonnes d’aliments sont gaspillées par an, évalue l’Agence de l’environnement et de la maîtrise de l’énergie (Ademe). Soit l’équivalent de 150 kg par an et par habitant. Nos voisins belges ne font pas mieux avec 345 kilos de nourriture gaspillée par personne et par an.
Pour lutter contre ce gaspillage alimentaire, l’association belge ou ASBL Nurtantio Projects a lancé en 2018 le Challenge JUST KEEP IT. Le principe : pendant 21 jours, tous les participants devaient réaliser une action concrète pour arrêter de gaspiller. Plus de 2 500 personnes (Belges et Français) avaient participé au défi ! Cette année, l’ASBL remet le couvert et propose de relever ce challenge non pas pendant 21 jours, mais pendant toute une année ! Lancée lundi 21 septembre, cette initiative se tiendra jusqu’au 22 septembre 2021. « Le challenge débute maintenant mais on peut y participer à tout moment », précise Yoneko Nurtantio, cofondatrice de Nurtantio Projets.
Challenge JUST KEEP IT : une application anti-gaspi
La nouveauté de cette deuxième édition : l’application. L’association a sorti une appli qui donne accès à un calendrier de menus pour chaque semaine. Toutes les recettes sont tirées de son livre « JUST KEEP IT : les recettes #Zerogaspi », publié en 2019. « Ce sont des recettes de saison, faciles, rapides, savoureuses, bon marché et qui permettent d’utiliser un même ingrédient plusieurs fois. » Pensées pour toute la famille, elles se préparent en seulement 30 minutes. L’application (pour Android) est gratuite et dresse aussi la liste des produits à acheter.
Comment participer ? Il faut télécharger l’application sur le site justkeeit.be, et se munir du livre « JUST KEEP IT : les recettes #Zerogaspi ». « Les recettes proposées dans l’application ne sont pas détaillées. L’appli renvoie aux recettes et astuces du livre », explique Yoneko. Celui-ci coûte 30 euros. « La totalité des bénéfices récoltés par la vente des livres sont versés à notre organisation à but non lucratif, Nurtantio Projects ASBL, qui poursuit des actions de sensibilisation dans les écoles, les entreprises et les centres d’action sociale (CPAS). » Depuis 2019, l’association initie des ateliers cuisine zéro gaspi pour les bénéficiaires de l’aide alimentaire.
Les participants sont aussi invités à rejoindre le groupe Facebook du challenge. « Tout au long de l’année, nous partagerons des astuces et des initiatives en lien avec notre démarche ». Des jeux-concours seront également organisés pour remporter des cadeaux. Parmi les partenaires : Kusmi Tea (thé), Les Nouveaux Comptoirs Olfactifs (parfums naturels et bio), Bee Nature (soins naturels à base de miel bio issu du commerce équitable).
